ERMES produces an IP door entry phone system that use exclusively a LAN or a WAN network for the connection of the call unit of the IP door phone to the receiver of the calls. No matter how the LAN is made: wireless, copper, fiber or other type of technology.
The IP door entry phone is native IP and therefore every IP door phone directly oversees the connection to the IP network, moreover this IP door entry phone uses a P2P (Peer-To-Peer) protocol and therefore the external call units communicate directly with the apparatus which receives the calls without the need of server or whichever central management unit.

This particular technique of communication Over IP, in how much it is based exclusively on the use of stand alone apparatuses that are connected directly to the network and that directly communicate among them, makes the realization of the systems with these IP door entry phone extremely easy in systems with few units as well as in very complex systems.

In the IP door entry phone system, all IP intercom Over IP produced by ERMES can be used as IP door phone; moreover, you can obtain an IP wireless door phone system by using those apparatuses connected to an appropriate couple of access points. As external IP door phone you may use the intercoms Over IP of the EASY family that is characterized by essential forms with rounded lines that are underlined by the adoption of innovative solutions for the positioning of microphone, loudspeaker and fastening screws that don't need holes, loopholes or grates on the front panel.

These intercoms Over IP can also be used as receiving station of the calls when an apparatus suitable to be mounted on wall is required. You can have versions with one, four or eight call buttons each of which is equipped by a door-label and by a signaling LED. The body of the apparatus is made in stainless steel with aesthetical parts in nylon added with glass so that it is specially sturdy and suitable to be used in critical installations both indoor as well as in outdoor.

The electronics, developed with low consumption components, is characterized by high MTBF and it is made on a mono-card that fulfills all the functions: starting from the management of the LAN connection and comprising the interfaces to the microphone and the loudspeaker. These intercoms Over IP use the Peer-To-Peer protocol, that ERMES already experimented in the previous versions of apparatuses and therefore they maintain the compatibility with the intercoms already installed so that you can use these intercoms for the expansion of existing systems of IP intercoms connected with wired LAN as well as wireless.

This IP door phone may be powered by POE but it can also be powered with a DC voltage between 12 and 24 V; for this purpose the range of accessories include a power supply that has dimensions suitable to be installed in the junction box used for the cables connection.

This intercom over IP is used as unit that receive the calls and it can connect up to 16 different call intercoms. The enclosure is made in ABS and it can be installed on desk as well as on wall in offices or similar areas. The talk takes place through a handset.

It has 16 buttons each equipped with a signaling LED so that it can control the connection to 16 call stations; moreover it has three buttons reserved to activate the relays available on the call station with which it is communicating and that you can use in order to open gates or automatic barriers. This desk intercom Over IP is used as main intercom in IP door phone systems with a large number of call stations that must be connected to an operator. He can oversee the system directly or he can work as intermediary operator in the systems that need a filter before forwarding the calls to the required user.

It allows to oversee the incoming calls and to redirect them to a different receiving intercom; moreover it monitors the connection to the LAN of the peripheral apparatuses and the faults detected by the self-test performed by each peripheral intercom. By means of this central unit you can activate the relays built-in in the call units that you can use to open gates, doors or other devices.

On the front panel you can find a LCD display, a numeric keypad and some functional keys that allow you to perform all the necessary operations; the talk take place in live voice thanks to the goose-neck microphone and the loudspeaker but, if required, you can have the same unit with a handset that make easy to use this intercom in areas with high noise and guaranteeing the privacy of the talk. Ultimately when it is available an ETHERNET LAN or a WAN connection the solution Over IP offers remarkable advantages when it is expensive to lay the cables for a traditional system.
